In his words the essence of his philosophy is this:

1. You don’t have to live your life the way other people expect

I only ever mentor a maximum of 10 clients at any one time. Given the intensity of the relationships with my clients, and because there is so much riding on their success, I focus a lot of attention on just a small number of clients, guaranteeing a highly successful outcome.

All of my clients are extremely successful. I choose them very carefully. They are the very best of the very best, and my job is to assist them in their efforts to become even better.

I like to keep my client list fairly eclectic. By doing so, I learn from a wide variety of people, and this allows me to help an even wider cross section of interesting clients.

As each client typically works with me for more than three years, I only ever take on two or three new clients a year.

The service I provide is exclusive, bespoke and extremely personal. It’s all about achieving breakthrough results and dramatic transformations, which bring about further career success, more personal happiness, a greater sense of fulfillment and purposeful living.

The Personal Dynamics web site appears to offer a way for graduates to connect and view a shared calendar for training courses

COURSES OFFERED:

Basic Workshop
The first step in an exciting journey of transformation.

Over a period of three evenings and a weekend, you will experience presentations, exercises, games, group and paired interactions and personal one-on-one exchanges all facilitated by a PD trainer.

And in the process, have your eyes opened to the preconceptions and mental, emotional, and physical ruts you have (without realizing) been stuck in. In their place, will be a brilliantly fresh perspective, a powerful set of tools for change that will impact your relationships, your career, your health and passion for living.  In short, The Basic is a basic shift – from a world with limits to one with unlimited possibilities.

The Advanced Course
Created for the many people who’ve come out of the Basic, saying to themselves “I’m awake, I see these things, now how do I take what I’ve learned for a test drive?”

The Advanced Course takes the general principles of PD and applies them to your specific goals on a much deeper, more personal and outrageous level.

It shifts the focus from information delivered by a trainer to the role of the trainer as a facilitator for group interaction. With your group, you’ll practice, “try on” and experience more productive, fulfilling ways of operating. The Advanced is a action-oriented, breakthrough-producing environment that ultimately allows you to become the trainer in your own life.

Graduate Workshops:

The Masters Course:

The Masters is an in-depth experience in the principles of the philosophical foundation of the Basic, Advanced and Leadership Program and the basic distinctions of human effectiveness, communication and excellence.

Leadership Program:
The principles of transformation applied at its most challenging, hands-on level. Leadership is a 90 day commitment that carries over from scheduled seminars and coaching into your 24/7 life.

You will be part of a close-knit team that is there to support you in realizing your full potential and is there, in turn, to be supported by you.

For those who are ready to translate intention into results, this is as real as it gets.

The tools I use:

7 VIBRANTS – the 7 characteristics of wellness & wholeness that characterize holistic well-being: physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, professional, financial, and social.
An understanding of the body’s seven chakras, or energy centers

How I work with you:

  • We’ll set up an initial meeting (via phone or in-person if in the Los Angeles area) and discuss your current state to establish a baseline for the results you’re looking to achieve.
  • We discuss your life vision and walk through the 7 VIBRANTs together. If it resonates, we decide to work together.
  • Using the 7 VIBRANTs, we determine where you stand against the seven aspects of well-being: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, professional, financial, and social to set a baseline.
  • We discuss which of the areas you want to focus on for improvement, and identify the desired state. Then, we determine how to leverage your thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, and desires to transform where you are and create the present and future you want.
  • We’ll schedule consistent, twice monthly meetings (60 – 90 minutes each) for a minimum of three to six months, and zero in on our areas of focus.
  • Monthly, we’ll track your progress in our determined focus areas for a clear understanding of improvement and assessment for ongoing support.

My promise to you:

I promise that after working with me, you will have a different perspective and a vastly improved outcome on your well-being. You’ll find:

  • There will be a positive shift in your consciousness.
  • You will shift away from “auto pilot” practices and toward intentional actions placing you in the direction of where you desire to be.
  • Your perspective toward life will open up to more wholeness and vibrancy than ever before.
Jonathan Fields – Good Life Project
Rating (average): (0)

Jonathan Fields is a dad, husband, serial-entrepreneur, award-winning author, speaker, web show host and mindful innovation strategist.

He is on a mission to help individuals and organizations build better solutions, businesses, art and lives in less time, with more joy and less effort. And he’s doing it in a rather unusual way—from the mindset out.

Good Life Project™ (GLP) is a movement founded by Jonathan Fields. A set of shared values. A community. A creed, bundled with a voracious commitment to move beyond words and act. First, as a manifestation of your soul. And then as a quest to have the adventure of a lifetime, and to leave the world around you changed.

It’s about building an extraordinary life, deeper relationships and meaningful bodies of work, businesses and movements. It’s about becoming a creator, a leader, a mentor, a giver, a doer. It’s about telling a story with your life that you’d want to read and share.

When GLP founder, Jonathan Fields, published his 2011 Annual Report, he distilled these ideals into something he called The 10 Commandments of Epic Business. These 10 Commandments exploded online, they were downloaded, shared and passed around thousands of times in a matter of hours. People were printing them out, posting them on walls and sharing them with teams, colleagues and friends around the world.

Fields also realized, after sharing the 10 Commandments of Business, they were bigger than just business. They were about life. Living a Good Life. People who embrace them create legendary stories, have more fun, cultivate higher-levels of freedom, touch more lives, leave bigger legacies and, straight up, live better lives. And that’s what this project is about. Opening a vein to the possibility of living differently in the world.

We are building a global education and support community for individuals and organizations on a mission to live well and give well; bringing together a world-class faculty to develop and offer intensive, business and lifestyle-innovation trainings, events, experiences, mentoring and peer-support. Our first program, the 10-month GLP Immersion, launched in March 2012, generating more than 100 applications for only 15 spots.

Over the coming months, we’ll be launching a selection of new experiences, retreats, trainings and events. If what happened with our first program is any indication, demand for spots will be extremely high. So for earliest notice, be sure you’re on our email notice list.

Come join this global community of benevolent world-shakers today!

A Message from Julia

When I was setting up this business, I couldn’t help but feel sick with how the institution of business had completely drifted from its origins.  One of the oldest words for company in Sweden translates as “nourishment for life.”  Looking around, it was clear to me that business had lost its soul, let alone the capacity to nourish life.

I hated the marketing hype.  I hate the way it propagates a culture that wants more and more and more.  It’s insatiable.  And it created businesses that were insatiable, spiraling downwards in an endless loop.  There is no heart.  No connection to the people.

I wanted to build my business knowing that enough would be Enough.  That working 25 hours a week would be the perfect amount so I could play, hike, nap, read, be with my family and friends and still make the difference I am here to make.

I wanted to know that, not only was I changing the lives of my clients, but I was changing the world because of How I ran my business.

I wanted to feel like my marketing and sales were driven by service, by a commitment to what my clients truly need, and what I can honestly and joyfully deliver.

I want to know that I am not over-using resources and that I’m replenishing the ones I do use.

I wanted to do all this without being labeled naive.  Without being written off as a socialist.  And with making a healthy profit that I could live abundantly and share.

Few were teaching it and even fewer to solo-entrepreneurs.

So I am.

It was the financial meltdown that created so many entrepreneurs whose faith in the system and stability has been shattered.  Whose family values were trampled.  Who deserve much more than the “American Dream.”

You deserve Your dream.  You deserve to be living comfortably and to feel fulfilled.  To feel proud.  To feel whole.

This is why I coach.  This is what makes me different.  This is what you deserve.

Wait, were you just looking for some fun facts rather than a Manifesto?  Well, I’ve got that for you too!

A few interesting (or just plain fabulous) things I’ve seen and done over the years:

  • I biked around Nova Scotia twice and did the AIDS Lifecycle from San Francisco to Los Angeles, 565 miles in 7 days.  Love riding.
  • I run half marathons every summer as an excuse to train.
  • I played rugby in college.  Lots of bruises.
  • I have relatives in South Africa, England, and Dubai. (Yes, I visit!)
  • I took a year off after high school and backpacked alone throughout Europe for 5 months:  I paraglided off a mountain over the beach at Olu Deniz, Turkey; I climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland (where Braveheart was filmed); watched the sun rise on a ferry through the Greek isles; and learned to say “thank you” and “please” in almost every language I could.  Most importantly, I learned that following the path everyone else was on was not exactly my thing.
  • I took a semester off during college and backpacked alone again in Southeast Asia for 6months. I learned to speak Thai in Bangkok, to cook excellent Thai food in Chiang Mai, got into a motorcycle accident in Cambodia, bungee jumped in Laos, scuba dived with whale sharks, and lived for a time in a Buddhist forest monastery.
  • I returned to Asia for 4 months after graduating from college, this time going to India, Nepal, Thailand and Laos (one of my favorite countries)…get the feeling that I like being on the road in fabulous new places?!
  • One of my life goals is at least one international trip a year. It’s been going quite well so far.
  • I grew up without a TV and have never owned one in my life…but I have to admit, I do love watching movies on the computer.

My journey to coaching Do-Gooding entrepreneurs was a wind-y one, but worth every minute.

1) Outdoor Adventure Leader – In college I led teenagers on 26 day and 15 day trips of backpacking, biking, kayaking, etc. I loved helping these “leaders-in-the-rough” overcome what seemed impossible (biking 100 miles in a day, rock climbing while dangling over the ocean). My troops went home empowered and ready to take on the world.

2) Desk Jockey – With a degree in architecture from the University of Michigan, I went to work as a designer in Oakland, CA. I love design, especially sustainable design, but office life wasn’t for me. I also realized that I wasn’t making an impact—especially on people—the way I wanted to.

3) Healing Arts – I took up massage therapy because I wanted to learn alternative methods for healing physical and emotional pain (versus taking pills or surgery). I love bodywork and still practice it, but again, I felt I wasn’t making a big enough impact. Clients would return week after week with the same issues.

4) Coach to Do-Gooding Entrepreneurs– I came to coaching because I love seeing the fire in someone’s eyes once they realize what baggage they get to let go of, who they really are, what they want to be doing with their life, and their potential to make a HUGE positive impact.

By creating a solid foundation for your business, I know that I am helping you make your passion and your vision a reality.  Really a win-win for everyone, as you get to make a good living doing something you truly believe in and I get to change the world vicariously through your amazing work.

I am a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the very well respected CTI, but I continue my “training” every single day. I read copious amounts on business, leadership, communication and manifestation. I meditate daily for 45-60 minutes. I am in relationship with other leaders and entrepreneurs striving to do great work. And I’m continuously incorporating fresh wisdom into my coaching process.  I love this stuff.

My clients don’t just dream big, they’re determined to LIVE BIG.

You know that talking isn’t enough. You thirst for meaning and action and change. You want to make a contribution. You stand for something!!

To see clients’ passion come into focus and spring to life is WHY I coach. My blessing is the ability to help Do-Gooding entrepreneurs like you find your inner strength and power so you can create a thriving business that supports you and changes lives!

I’m not only interested in helping you succeed. I’m deeply COMMITTED.  How about you?

I can’t wait to meet you.

Your Coach,

Julia Kious Zabell
